Markforged Materials: Continuous Fiber Composites & Metal

Markforged is renowned for materials that deliver parts stronger than aluminum, built on their Continuous Fiber Fabrication (CFF) and Additive Manufacturing (ADAM) technologies. CFF allows for the reinforcement of base materials like Onyx (micro-carbon filled nylon) with continuous strands of Carbon Fiber, Kevlar, or Fiberglass, creating composite parts with exceptional strength-to-weight ratios. The ADAM process uses proprietary metal powders (such as Stainless Steel, Tool Steel, and Inconel) bound in a plastic matrix, enabling the printing of fully dense, high-performance metal parts that are ready for sintering.
