On Press Issue: Tailing
Potential Causes
The ink film thickness is too high
Solution: Lower ink film thickness.
The ink is not cured
Solution: Check the lamp age and make sure that the reflectors are clean and check the focal plane. Check the lamp output.
The ink is over-emulsified
Solution: Turn the water settings down. If the ink is over emulsified it may not cure properly with all the water in it.
